Ancestry also have the baptism - St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey.  Address given as 6 Spa Road.  Unfortunately they are not living at that address in 1901.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

From that information:

Marriage - June q 1900 - St Saviour RD - John VERNON and Alice Wentzell appear on the same page.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Many thanks for the info/help BumbleBee.

Hi again to all, l have also been unable to find JOHN VERNON's death details.
He dies between the years of 1901 and 1911.

Alice has a partner / Husband on the 1911 Census and is a JAMES HENRY SEARES.
Entered on this Census is that they have been Married for 5 years.'

The 5 years is I believe to be the length of time that they have been living together. They eventually Marry in 1935 which I do have the G.R.O reference for.

FreeBmd deaths show no JOHN VERNON near to what his age would have been of approximately 26 ? to  die between the years of 1901 and 1911 in the Surrey and Kent areas.

Taking the 5 years from the 1911 Census it looks like that JOHN VERNON possibly died between 1901 and 1906?

Any help much apppreciated. Regards JUST J

Not necessarily, John and his wife may have just separated especially if she didn't actually remarry till much later.
I would look for a death up to 1935 the date she married again.
