Sorry Sandra, if you mean the parents name of Thomas Mason, I have no idea. The parents of his wife Elizabeth were Thomas and Maria Pott.

It was Thomas I was after.  Elizabeth parents were listed on the 1906 census in early reply.

So at this point I have no idea where in England he came from. I could order the marriage registration but that still dosn’t answer where he went. Did he go back to England or did he go to the USA , or, or, or?Hmmmm.

Where did you get the date of birth for Thomas ?

Its what violet had told family before she passed away. I see by the census report that he has the 11th not the 10th.

Can't see a suitable birth registered for Q2 - 1873 for Thomas Francis Mason ?

I have not been able to find a suitable birth registration. Is it possible that his place of birth was recorded incorrect because he was a boarder and it was marked as the same as the people he was currently with at the time of the census. I have not been able to find him on later census after the 1901 that you provided.

The Pott family seem to have arrived in 1892 so it was a thought that perhaps Thomas Mason and Elizabeth Pott had known each other in the UK or come from the same area.
There were a couple of passenger lists which would fit Thomas/Thos Mason in 1892 and 1893 - although destinations weren't spot on.  So no further forward with him.
