Hi there i am trying to research my mates family tree the name is agnes corr born we think 1925 in ireland roscommon does anyone have any information on the surname corr ,hope u can help and look forward to hearing from u.

There are a couple of trees on the 'ancestry' website that show an Agnes Corr, born 5 July 1926 in Roscommon, Ireland to a couple called Martin Corr and Anne Coyne (Agnes apparently went on to marry a chap with the surname McNulty in Leicester in 1954).  With the usual HUGE health warning over the accuracy of online trees, there is a marriage of a Martin Corr and Anne Coyne in 1922:

There doesn't appear to be a civil birth registration for an Agnes Corr in the county of Roscommon around 1925.

Did your Agnes marry or die in Ireland do you know?

If you know who she married - you could obtain her marriage certificate which would give her father's name.

Family search does have an index but only one Agnes Corr birth in 1920s but Dublin-

Must admit that I hadn't known about the 100 year birth rule. Thank you for that information aghadowey. (You seem to spend a lot of time tutoring me about the many things I didn't know that I didn't know -- if that makes sense!!)
