Hi

I have a George W Jones in my tree. For the 1911 census in Glamorgan and 1901 in Monmouthsire he has birthplace as Leominster, Herefordshire. In 1891 in Monmouthshire, Ancestry has Beeford, Herefordshire. But the image says a place but I can't make it out. I don't think I should post Ancestry images here, so I wont  ;D

I don't know Herefordshire very well, is there a place like Berefort? It looks something like that but nothing like Beeford  ???

Nothing would prevent you providing a link to the ancestry page.

I think it says Hereford in 1891 . If you look at the  instances of H they are quite variable. Over the page there is a William Smith born Hull - the H looks the  same as the first letter of " Beeford".

Incidentally this is the Hertfordshire board , not Herefordshire.  ;D
