Help to delete unknow contacts from e-mail

If I go into Gmail direct I do not have any unwanted contacts.
 If I send an email through mail for windows 10 unwanted contacts show up as soon as I put a letter in the send to part.

The Windows 10 Mail uses another app called "People". That is able to sync with certain other providers' address books - with Hotmail it new contacts can be added from either end.

It's possible that in the absence of being able to get your contacts from Gmail, it is just harvesting anything it can from your incoming mail - even the spam.

Worth a look in there.
