Don't know which OS you use, but I use a Mac and when I had problems I looked at the option for my browser that is labelled 'develop' and from there chose the subsection 'show web inspector'
<this is my desperation choice when things aren't right. I don't really understand much of it but that doesn't stop me looking!>
It had a red exclamation mark and at the bottom it said something about a content blocker was preventing something else from loading/ happening.
I understood the words 'content blocker' (but nothing much else!) so tried the whitelist option and hey presto, the problem went away.
If you have a similar 'develop' option for your browser it may be worth a look? Even if you don't understand it, the techy folk at the site may do, it may help them to be able to get to the bottom of the problem?
