this 1851 census for Daniel Diggles has the correct occupation of packer

In Emeltom's absence the GRO index has mothers maiden surnames for that period, you may need to register if you have not already used the site to order certificates.  Never use Ancestry for ordering certificates

Robert's son Thomas (1877) married 13th April 1896 to Esther Cunliss. Thomas's surname at marriage Skellon. His father Robert recorded as "deceased" so the 1894 death looks good.
