the parish entries for the marriages are on Ancestry and they can save you buying marriage certificates as they are the originals.
There are also good records on FindmyPast.

I've given some links to FamilySearch, it's free but you need to register. It has a mixture of transcriptions and links to parish registers.

It's always a good idea to look at the actual census entry on another site and not rely on the transcriptions.

As Rosie99 says, GRO index is the way to find maiden names on birth registrations for the period before they are shown on FreeBmd, and also age at death for period when that detail isn't on FreeBmd.
