All the children except Ann had died by 1851

Ann nee Plank died in childbirth as she was buried 2 days before her son William was baptised on 8 May 1848. He died on 24 Feb 1849.

Assume this could be his brother - with some family names the same... and occupation

1851 Berkshire

Mayors Lane

CARR

Thos - 44 - Sawyer - born Newbury, Berkshire
Elizabeth - 44
Charles - 18 - Sawyer
Maria - 15

Eliza - daughter - 11
Amy - daugh 6

I think "Amy" is another Ann. Ancestry have indexed her thus, and the image could be Ann. There's a tall h from John underneath the second n which could be read as a y to make Amy, so I can see where it comes from

There is a Public Members Tree on Ancestry

Thomas CARR married Elizabeth PALMER -3 November 1834, Berkshire, England

Ann CARR's age on the 1851 census - seems to be 8.
