Death notice from the Evening Herald June 4th 1975
Harnett (Dublin) – June 3, 1975, at Jervis Street Hospital, David Gerard (suddenly), dearly beloved husband of Frances Harnett, 77 Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra West, and formerly of C.I.E., Summerhill; deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal to-morrow (Thursday) from hospital to Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West: arriving at 5.30 o’c. Funeral, Friday after 10 o’c. Mass to Glasnevin Cemetery.
