Ballyeaston Church of Ireland baptisms start 1866, marriages 1845, burials 1888 (earlier records sent to Dublin but destroyed).

The Guide give location of records (on microfilm at PRONI (and Coleraine Library, I believe)- both closed at the moment- and local custody but it looks like they don't go back far enough.

So... based on the image you posted at reply #4, is the following 1888 record of a 29 year old Elizabeth Gordon marrying a William Calderwood the correct one (with her father Alexander recorded as a plumber)?
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1888/10764/5925478.pdf

If it is, does it relate to the following death of a widowed plumber called Alexander Gordon of 117 Cambrai Street Belfast at the end of 1885?
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1886/06263/4793884.pdf

A lengthy newspaper report into that Alexander Gordon's suicide described him as a 'plumber and tinsmith' and mentioned a daughter Lizzie.

Then there is the following death of a Maria Gordon of 117 Cambrai Street Belfast the previous year, recorded as the 'wife of Alexander Gordon a Sheet Metal Worker':

Yes, I know that the reported ages don't remotely fit with what you've posted, but I'm struggling for now to otherwise explain this Gordon couple who died in 1884 and 1885. So just to note for now.

I think it's the same family. Plumbers were often tinsmiths I believe so apart from the ages, everything else fits. I think also that Margaret, one of the children of Maria and Alexander moved into the home after they had both died with her husband.

So, I'm now looking to find Logan links with Ballycorr and Ballyeaston as well as Stewarts.

Thanks so much all of you for your help. It has saved me going round the bend... for now!
