It's strange...

From the GRO index, I can see that James Archibald Fishwick & Sarah Fishwick (nee Chandler) had 3 children:

Doris Evaline Fishwick b. 1906 in Aston

Raymond Chandler Fishwick b. 1910 in Aston

Stanley James Fishwick b. 1912 in Aston

But I can only find the baptism record for one of them:

Church: Holy Trinity Church, Bordesley

Date: January 26th 1910

Name: Raymond Chandler Fishwick

Parents' names: James Archibald & Sarah Fishwick

Abode: 17 Trinity Terrace

Father's profession: Type-writer

It was only a few years after Doris' birth so I imagine the information is much the same. Is there something specific you were hoping to find?

Queenie  :)

Hello Queenie. Yes I was hoping her DOB would be on it and where she was born which your information tells me. I know she married my relation Leslie Reynold Mansell in 1927 although I don't know where and she died in 1928 run over by a taxi so I have her death date. Alan

I think your best bet would be to order the birth certificate from the GRO. It is only £7 for a .pdf and it usually arrives into your account within 7 days.

Queenie  :)

EDIT: According to the Civil Registration Index, Doris & Leslie married in the Birmingham South Registration District in Summer 1927.
