In 1881 William Fromant (1833) was living in Horningsea Cambs with his wife Naomi (1838) and four children.

Can anyone see the marriage details for William and Naomi?

Naomi's maiden name is Green - from the GRO entries for the children

FreeBMD has a marriage in Q4 1856 in Chesterton district, but it's showing up probably with an incorrect indexing alongside marriages in Hardingstone. It has the reference Volume 3b p113

Same quarter - marriage for William Fromant  Chesterton Vol 3b   p1113. Spouse missing

He may have been a widower - there's also a William Fromant marriage in Chesterton in 1853

That's interesting. .... I have just looked up Naomi Green FreeBMD marriages ... Dec 1856 3b 113

but no sign of William. In the entry for Naomi 'Chesterton' was written in italics.

Looks very likely he was a widower.

One of the spouses in 1853 is Sarah Beamont
