Henry EDMENTS, born c1836, Halesworth (Blything)

Hello,

This particular gentleman is elusive, not least because of his surname variations, EDMOND, EDMONDS, EDMUND and EDMUNDS.

He was born c1836 in Halesworth, the son of Robert and Mary EDMOND (nee DILLISTONE?) and was brother to James, Caroline, William and Elizabeth (1841 Census: HO107/1015/16/36, p.16).   He completed two lengthy prison terms, 1849-1856 and 1857-1861 and also had previous summary convictions as a juvenile in 1847.   I have adopted EDMENTS as a primary surname which sits with the 1849-1856 sentence at Parkhurst Prison.

I have scoured the indexes using the surname variations but have signally failed to uncover any details for him after 1861.   I wonder if someone would kindly help ??? ::)

Thank you,
