Historic German newspapers on line

Don't suppose anyone knows of any?  I've had a google around but no luck.  I'm after a football result from the 1960s!

Hi Roger,

Do you want to tell us which match in particular? The google results are often different from country to country - I can have a look from here (N. Germany) if you want.

Best regards,
Karen

Thanks for asking!  Its a low level game between Dorsten and Tooting & Mitcham played on 3rd June 1963.

I have made an effort at the links posted above but with my failed O Level German and my lack of German geography I didn't make any headway!

Hi Roger,

The club in Dorsten certainly has a lot of history!

I'm working on it. I'll let you know if & when I find out anything.  :)
