Lol...   Sandra..., I hate contradicting.  However, the continuing Ancestry message was the following. (annexed image)  All very confusing.
McArthur - Campbeltown and Tiree Scotland
Black - Campbeltown Scotland - Rathlin Ireland
MacFarlane - Tiree
Wood / Boorman / Gimber / Lee... KENT
Dennett / Mase / Varrier /  Over... KENT

The offer Sandra gave you is £55.99 a year - so 50% off.

You do have to keep trying sometimes to get the half-price offer to appear.
If it doesn't come up on the link, try again later.

Don't quite understand...  Sandra's url is above with £55.99 per every six months.
And this more-or-less corresponds with my 2018 payment of £117.

Sloe Gin may have a good idea.

Thanks everyone.  Kind Regards..., Iain.

No that is definitely not correct Iain.

The link we are using is £59-99 UK Premium for 12 months or £89-99 for worldwide.
Members on here have been using the same link for 5/6 years now.  So we do hope they never pick up on that particular link  :-\

The one you show in reply 9 is 6 months.

Sorry to hear you have been paying those extra amounts and have never come across all the posts made about the cheap ancestry offer.

Regards
Sandra

Are you logged into your Ancestry account when you are trying to get the offer on Sandras link.

The offer Iain got as a follow up from ancestry is what he shows above Rosie.  Unfortunately that is the £69-99 with 20% off equals £55-99 but only for 6 months. Don't think he realises that.

I only asked if he was logged in as someone the other day was only getting a six month offer but once they logged into their account they had no problem getting the half price 12 month offer from your link.

I can see that the 'page' Iain is showing is nothing like the page we get when following your link.
Iain clearly needs to ignore Ancestry's offers to him and follow your link like the rest of us have over the years ;D

Tried and tested Rosie.  :)  Feel like the Ancestry Police  :)

Its fantastic when I log in and someone has messaged to say "thanks, I got the offer" because one day it will disappear.

Take Care
