Here is where I now am, with everyone's help. Clifford John Cottle born 1876, vicar, marries Sarah Chittenden ( born Snodland, Kent)  in Malling, Kent in 1900. There children were Dorothy May Cottle born Brighton, Sussex 1902. Reginald Cliffird Cottle born Blackburn, Lancashire in 1904.
Reginald Clifford Cottle marries Alice Traylor, or Taylor, or Treller, born 06.09.1903, in 1937 at Eastry, Kent. I cannot be sure of Alice's maiden name, how best to prove what it was - Marriage certificate ?

Excellent. I pretty sure that the wedding in Easterly, Kent was a good pointer, as later in life they moved down to Deal, where they spent the rest of their lives. I know that Reginald & spinster sister Dorothy May Cottle died in the Dover area (Deal). Cannot find a death date for Alice.

Reginald died MQ 1983 Dover Vol. 16 Page 1247, birth date given as 23.3.1904. He left a will.

Looks like Alice died in 1990 March quarter

Really very impressive and I am most grateful. They had no children. Should anyone be interested from the Cottle family, I have a couple of photos. Reginald is shown as an aircraft engineer in the 1939 census, living in Leeds. They personified goodness.

Sorry to be cheeky, but in the will does it show the beneficiaries. I think her sister, Eleanor Elizabeth Trayler married John Brown in 1925 at Eastry, Herne Bay, Kent.
