The baptism given earlier for David WOOTTEN  in 1815 - parents: David (occupation: Carpenter)  & Ann

it would seem ....   Frederick, the Grandson - living with David (Snr) on the 1841 census was christened at Bromham, 22 Dcember 1833, parents: Stephen * (occupation, Carpenter) and Elizabeth

*this is another name after Stephen, but can't read it.

Capetown - interesting information - with the wife's surname not referenced in records and the given name being the same, it sure does make tracking the families a challenge (i.e. David Wootten and Mary Blackman and David Wootten and Mary Knee).

Re the will and testament that you referenced for David Wootten - can that be referenced online and if so where?

Sorry - that was my mistake - I have been looking at so many records of late, the names are spinning in my head and rather than checking my hard copy, I wrote David when it should have been George - i.e. George Wootten married Mary Blackman.

George and Mary Wootten had a son called David, he was baptised at Bromham 13 June 1810 which isn't a match for David's age in 1851 of 36.

Possible burial in Bromham
7 May 1815 George Wootten 41

which appears to be for the George Wootten baptised in Bromham 23 May 1773 son of Paul & Ann

Possible burial for his wife in Bromham
5 Jan 1818 Mary Wootten widow 42

Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night about any Cliffords.  I spent the evening at the emergency vets.
