Hannah Finch is a witness on the marriage of Elizabeth Allton (Finch) in 1879 - daughter?

So if that was mum she was still alive then.

Your subject header and opening post are misleading & need amending

If she married Henry Finch then you are looking for a death for Hannah Finch - not Hannah Smith

Have you looked for her on any census to narrow down a death date?    Have you looked for a death under Finch on freebmd for both Henry & Hannah - both were still alive in 1861

Freebmd is the site to use for queries of this nature and you can use familysearch to look for census entries unless you have a subscription to Ancestry or FindMyPast

They were still alive in 1871, I think Hannah's age is actually 68, not 60.

The registration district for deaths is Atherstone.

I have this in my family tree too. Elizabeth was first married to William Allton (d. 1877) and then to Thomas Thompson. Hannah Finch is listed as a witness at her daughter's wedding in March 1879. So her death would be after that.
