...and to make matters worse I have now found an Anthony Thomas Paull, parents Charles Christopher & Susannah, born Nov 1866 & baptised at St John, Great Marlborough St. Address 22 Little Windmill Street, father a Shoemaker...

I couldn't find a GRO listing to see his MMN but I'm not very good on that resource.

This is a real mystery.

...and even worse, now a baptism record for an Arthur Thomas, ALSO born 3rd Nov 1866, but with his parents' names written as "Charles Christopher & Charlotte Paull". Again the address is 22 Little Windmill Street, father a Shoemaker. But he was baptised at St James, Picadilly!!!
