Kite birth/marriage

Trying to find any details of Robert Kite, born Folkstone 1804 and his wife, Martha Impett, who he married in 1830 at Thannington (?) Canterbury.

Need parents names.

One last puzzle; Robert's son Edward becomes Edward IMPETT Kite. How? Why?

Quite normal for the mother's surname to be included in that of her children to  keep her family name alive.

Did Robert remarry in 1869 to Naomi Mannering and was he a cabinet maker?
1869 marriage shows his father as Roberts Kite sailor

The only burial I can find for Robert snr was 1804, if its him Susanna would only be newly pregnant with Rob jnr

Now interestingly Robert is down as married in 1851 and Martha seems to be in St Pancras, Middlesex down as Widowed. Martha Kite c 1811  Garmouth, Kent, Upholsterer.

Cant find her in 1841 but children are in Folkestone 1841
