To give some sort of background and perhaps a few clues as to where William was and indeed his father George were in 1861, listed below is what I have from kind Rootschat members a good year or so ago. Would William's Death Certificate give DOB and where born as in later certificates? William does not seem to know where he originated as there appears to be conflicting locations given ie Great Clacton, Newport and Bristol!
