Yes it could be I suppose, his 'abode' was recorded as 'Lanchester', though Tanfield was where he was born and where he was living for the previous 3 census returns.
I am trying to relate it to the N.R. for the other annotation - that burial was for a man whose abode was Busty Bank , which as far as I can tell was in Burnopfield Parish.
I just hate it when I don't understand things and I am rubbish with abbreviations. I like whole words , I have a fighting chance with those :-)
