Heworth Cemetery Jane Ann Dee
« on: Friday 19 March 21 08:49 GMT (UK) »
hello Jane Ann Dee was buried at Heworth graveyard on the . She died on the 6th of September 1940.
I see Heworth cemetery was not opened until a year later 1941. I wonder if she was buried in the church grounds. Also if there is a memorial on the grave. Enclosed is a copy from the Newcastle Journal 10th of September 1940.

The burial according to the paper was in Heworth Churchyard.  As her husband had already died it is likely she is in the same plot as him.

I checked both
 https://www.gravestonephotos.com
and
https://www.findagrave.com/
both of which seem to have fairly good (but not complete) coverage of St Mary Heworth
Nothing on either site for Dee.
