Ah! Thank you. I’ve found a record for Robert Buxton in Tissinton. Will check that out.
How did you see the image?

The image is on Findmypast. The name is clearer on the second page.

Thank you both 😊
I think I’ve got back another generation now.
I only have ancestry on subscription, and looked at the tissington parish records on there and found Robert baptised to Thomas and Anne nee swinglehurst in 1668.
I also found who I think is Jane Johnson there, baptised 1667 to Ralph and Margaret Johnson. The first name is a bit unclear on the image. Cheeky request: If one of you has access, would you mind having a look and seeing if you think it’s Jane, please?
Thanks again.

Hi Jacqui

Bishop Transcripts are on Familysearch, and it is Jane.  Much better image.

The entry is on left of page, about where the first light smudge is

Ment to say not a cheeky request pleasure to help

Thank you.

I’ve often helped on the Essex board where most of my own family are from but doing this for a friend.

My geography is definitely improving 🤣

I used to transcribe for family search but I’m not very good at using it. Still, practice makes perfect ...

Thanks again.
