There is a burial for a Thomas Lodge 10 April 1789 in Poole.

If that is your Thomas, then Mary might have remarried to John Murphy 11 March 1791 in Poole.  Both were widowed.

Nell

On the record for that marriage, one witness was William Lodge - would a 12 year old be able to witness a marriage? He made his mark but Mary Lodge signed. Another witness was Ann Simmonds who also signed. 3rd witness (Harcourt) appears on most records, possibly parish clerk or similar official.
