She’s gorgeous Neale. Some of those children’s shoes used to have metal soles, a bit like horse shoes. I used to have a pair in my collection. Grandma’s shoes do look quite long on her, but I think they look lovely with the frilly dress.

I wonder how, or if, she walked in them? Maybe she just stood still and looked sweet.

I’m sure she would have walked in those boots - they wouldn’t just be for show.

Thanks Ruskie, those were the tools I was imagining. Getting dressed in those times was not a quick activity!
