Help Needed...

... I need some help. I am trying to trace the death of one of my relatives Matthew Devine. Born 17 May 1892 in Port Glasgow, Scotland to Thomas Devine and Mary McKinley. He married Elizabeth McWilliam 2 Jan 1928 in Port Glasgow. My problem is that I cannot find his death records. I have tried Scottish People, Find my past and Ancestry but nothing comes up. Can anyone help or suggest a route to take.

Are you sure he died in Scotland? No death record showing for him in the index on SP.

Can't really see a death for his wife Elizabeth McWilliam either. You can search for deaths for married women on SP with both surnames which always helps...but not in this case!

I looked...The Matthew who died in 1961 in Dundee is the one you want.

Thank you everyone. It is indeed the Dundee one. Funny thing I have a lot of my latter ancestor in Dundee and somehow just ruled that place out.
