Thanks I have been able to decipher it using the rest of the document. The last 5 words are 'from whom she Absentia Divorce'.

I suspect that they split up around 1939. As this links back to another post on this Forum about George Bennett that goes on to talk about one of his Grand children Edith H Brundle;

Hi,

She could be a factory worker. I found these searching Google for "piano bushing" rather than busher, that give more results than pianoforte busher :)

https://londonist.com/london/history/kentish-town-centre-of-the-universe-for-pianos

and a film of a German piano being made in 1926,

In 1939 the people living with her have the following occupations,

Cinema Usherettes
Alloy Metal Engineer
(wife)  Unpaid Domestic Duties
Dental Assistant Sales Women
Office Cleaning General Post Office
Cook Canteen

Hope this helps :)

Daisy

On the marriage certificate it lists my grandmother's occupation as Cinema Usherette and Edith H Brundle signed the document as being one of the witnesses. Edith was my grandmothers aunt and she effectively bought her up as her own child as my grandmothers mother died when she was only 6 months old.

.... 'formerly the wife of (something) (1st husband), from whom she (something) divorce."

"Formerly the wife of Arthur Charles (unclear)"

Is that even a thing? More likely "from whom she obtained a divorce".
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

"...obtained a divorce" would be the standard wording

I downloaded the image (which was 1635x 804 pixels) and once I reduced the size, though its still a bit blurred, I see

"from whom she obtained a divorce"
