Retro Logo

Please ignore the handsome chap on the go kart :-[, what I'd like to do is draw your attention to the logo on the chain guard and ask if anyone recognizes the brand. This is the only photo I have of my first set of wheels and is taken in about 1967/68, but I've trying to find a better picture of it. I always assumed it was by Tri-ang, but now I'm not so sure.

Any thoughts please

Regards

I've cropped to the logo itself and brought the 'levels' up to make it easier to see.

It looks like your trike had alloy wheels.  :) They look quite distinctive. I've found this page that has a trike (although it's a two-seater) that has wheels that look similar. https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/163858-old-two-seater-tricycle

They suggest it was a Chinese manufactured one.

Thanks for your interest Trystan. The wheels were made of cast aluminum, if I recall.

Hmm! i assumed it was good old British engineering being late 1960's, never considered it was imported.  :-\

Definately not a trike though........... full on 4 wheels Go-Kart  :D

Stewart,

Well, I hope by watching the video I posted that it will rekindle the memory a bit. :)
