There is this family in 1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Clare/Fahymore/Fahy_Beg/366215/

John is a Carpenter and son Frank born in America

In 1901 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Clare/Faheymore/Faheymore_North/1082957/
Frank is born in Clare

The ages are a bit out for Frank and John and wife Nora is quite a bit younger than John in 1901. Perhaps a second marriage?

It is worth looking at anyway.

Did Jack have a brother called Leo, in Baldoyle?

Would it be possible for replies to be posted on the original thread as given above rather than in this on the resources board please?

There is more information there and I do have some possible information but it is no use posting it until I know what you think. Sorry.

P S welcome dizzy  :)

Thanks for that. When you say "original thread" is that family history - or should I be somewhere else? Apologies, I am wearing rather large "L" plates, but I don't want to be in the wrong place when I should be somewhere else.

Perhaps I should just scroll through and see what I can find first - truth be known, I'm not sure where to start or how to find stuff. But thanks for the welcome :)
