Dorset Family History Society's Monthly Online Zoom Meeting
« on: Monday 22 March 21 19:45 GMT (UK) »
Dorset Family History Society is hosting an on-line Zoom talk on Tuesday 20th April 2021 from 7.30pm - 9.15pm (approx.)

ON-LINE SPEAKER IS LES MITCHINSON talking on ‘SEARCHING FOR DORA’.

Les shows how searching for Dora was the type of puzzle we all experience in our family tree. He explains how falsehoods threw him off the scent and how he finally found Dora after more red herrings than a murder mystery!

Les returns to us once more with another intriguing and informative talk using his extensive knowledge.

Les, after a naval career, became a professionally qualified genealogist, a course Tutor with the IHGS and has been appointed their Director of Education. He has his own business in Family History helping clients from around the world research their families.

To access the talk please email liaison@dorsetfhs.org.uk from the week before. An invitation will be sent out with sign in details, and then sign in to Zoom from 7.15pm on the night for a 7.30 start. The Society would welcome a voluntary contribution of £3 towards the cost via our website.  Thank you.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING EVERYONE TO OUR NEW APPROACH AT THIS CHALLENGING TIME!

We also are pleased to announce the opportunity for everyone to discuss their research and seek some assistance from one of our research volunteers by Zoom or telephone (as our research centre Treetops, located in Poole, is still currently closed).
