Thanks, Gadget! I was blind to the style of r, but can see it now - very different to the u in feue.

It was the ar in Marie that convinced me.

Thanks Gadget! You've solved the mystery! I tried using Joker characters (and her husband's name) in my searches but came up with nothing. Thanks to you, I've now got a potential date and place for the marriage of Jacques and Marie (from Geneanet) to track down and attempt to verify from the Parish Registers.

Another step closer .... You've certainly got an eye for this! I'm very grateful.
