I'm wondering why this entry says 2013 for death date...seems different then the 2012 one, Or is it an end-of year carry-over that makes it 2013?

That couple were married in 1953.  Stacey's Kenneth was married in 1958.

None of them are a match for each other.  The 2013 death was in the second quarter, the will details that I posted has the death as being in the third quarter of 2012.
