Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Lt John Charles Attewell - Royal Air Force - who died 8/5/1918

The private memorial marking the grave of Lt Attewell no longer provides adequate
commemoration. The commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Son of John Henry and Matilda Florence Attewell, of 2, Richmond Avenue, Merton Park.

Mother passed away in 1952 Surrey - 5g 653

Father John Henry Attewell died 30 December 1920 - 2 Richmond Avenue. Merton Park. Surrey.
Sergeant RE - administration with will to Matilda Florence Attewell. Probate 25 February

Seems to be a birth of a male to Attewell/Slater - John Attewell - Croydon - 2a 645. June 1928.
