Great many thanks for that.

One more, with the same spelling of Umney.  This one has a tad more family history value:

Oxford Chronicle and Reading Gazette 21 May 1870  (page 8 )
Marriages

May 17 at Mary's Church, Witney, by the Rev. H. W.
Dix, Mr. S. D. Ryall, so on S. D. ryall, Esq., Gilling-
ham, Dorsetshire, and grandson of the Rev. Narcissus
Ryall, late rector of East Lydford and Wheathill, Somer-
setshire, to Mary Ann, granddaughter of Mrs. Umney, of
the High Street, Witney.

Cool thanks for that. Interestingly Samuel isn't my direct ancestor though. My ancestor is his aunt Martha Hewson Ryall who was the younger sister of Samuel's father Samuel Durnford Ryall snr.

Bits and pieces like these newspaper extracts are really useful as they add bits of info about the family and in cases like this tell me more about the Rev Narcissus Ryall, my direct ancestor.

Many thanks for the info.

Matt
