Birth records are only available for 120 years or older (from the date of birth) births in the Province of Alberta.  Maybe that's why no one has come across the two births yet.

Death records are available 50 years or older (from the date of death) but so far nothing on deaths.

Maybe they moved on from Edmonton Alberta ?

Think a steerage ticket was about $30 which would equate to £830 ish now.

Interesting read here -  Steerage Passenger Passage Contracts & Tickets.
Apparently it was cheaper to travel to Canada rather than the USA at that time.

Hi Sandra,
Thank you very much for the messages, searching for a death sometimes
is pot luck.  I found Cyril burial on the Belfast City Council records you
can see the date of death also who else is in the grave. the address is
where they last lived is a big help.

when we got the boat from Liverpool to Belfast in the 1970’s young
children under 5 was free.  must have been hard for Margaret in them
                   days.

will have a search of the deaths, I live in England but born in Belfast
if I can help in any way over here, let me know.
                  best regards,     Billy.

Might it be an idea to post asking for information on Harold Reid on the Belfast/Antrim board ?
There are many genealogy wizards who are amazing in Ireland.

Take Care Billy.
