Jobling Family clean up please if possible.
« on: Sunday 28 March 21 18:01 BST (UK) »
All the humans were born at Swalwell, County Durham, not sure about the dog :-).
Rear  l-r
John William Jobling (1895-1967), Lilian Harwood Jobling (1886-1926), Thomas Nicholson Jobling (1889-1915)

Front l-r
Nicholson Jobling (1858-1913), dog (name/dates unknown), Isabella Jobling, nee Harwood (1864-1936)

I am sure the photo could benefit from a wash and brush up if anyone has time please.

Nicholson Jobling's obit in 1913 says that as well as being a Primitive Methodist Preacher he also carried on a business as a photographer in Newcastle, acting as a managing partner with Messrs A. and G. Taylor.

Thanks

Boo

Thank you very much Peter, hope the dog didn't shake himself and soak you when you got him out of the bath !

Thank you Pat, they are both super.

I keep looking at Lilian's tiny waist, not sure how they managed to breathe in that kind of clothing. Though she is generally slim, something had to be pulling that waist in.

Thanks japeflakes, another great improvement.

I wonder if there was a person taking the photo or if it was done on a timer kind of thing?

Perhaps the dog used a paw button :-), or perhaps not!
