Did Ely NESS have 2 legal wives ?

Ely must have stayed close to his children as he was with the family in 1925 Census ....where was his new bride and her 7 year old daughter Ann ESSINGER ?

His eldest daughter studied in Mexico
And his eldest son Lew Perez NESS married and had children there .

There are lots of newspaper clippings about them and their children. The children often visited Ely in Mexico. Bessie's obit in 1980 mentions son Lew of Mexico City. I see an article about Lew & his wife, of Mexico City coming to visit Bessie at Tupper Lake in 1953.

I think I found a similar clip for obit of Bessie FELLMAN NESS

+ Knew about the Clements grant but it was lovely to see a clear explanation

I don't have the extra newspaper subs
Some records I can open and some I can only see preview of .

Also When I tried to search Ely NESS
I got lots of hits which just happened to have word endings ely and Ness in same paragraph ....maybe searching from UK doesn't render the same results

I'd love to know more about the son L C N
 and his children in Mexico he's probably still living.
