Warbos - but not the BREAD
« on: Sunday 28 March 21 22:52 BST (UK) »
My 2 x great grandfather Ralph Warburton born I think 1816 married Mary Foxley 5/12/1836 Warmingham, Cheshire. They had 15 children. I don't know who  Ralph's parents are or Mary's are. I have seen FT with Joseph Warburton & Mary Stubbs. Mary Foxley with parents Samuel Foxley and Elizabeth Platt is this correct? Thank you
Kind regards
Heather

Have you contacted the tree owner to establish the source of their info?

1851 census states that Samuel Foxley was born 1778 in Packforton,Cheshire - this should read Peckforton - 5 miles from Nantwich -2 miles from Bunbury and 3 miles from Tarpoley ... does this Samuel tally with the FT you read ??

In 1851 Mary Warburton nee Foxley states she was born in Bunbury. I can find a baptism in Bunbury 1817 for a Mary Foxley with parents Samuel and Jane and for a Samuel Foxley 1821 with the same parents.

I have drawn a blank with Ralph Warburton but there are five people with him in their trees on Genes Reunited. That is to say they have Ralph Warburton, born 1816, Sandbach. One of them may have further details of his parents.
