I am 'investigating' the Reads of Quainton, but haven't got this family on the tree - yet!  There seem to be quite a few of them.  I am 'tracing down' from John Read b 1774 Lower Winchendon and his wife Mary Rose who I believe are in Quainton on the 1841 census - I have sons William born 1811 and Thomas born 1819.

Yes, the surname Read is extremely common in the area. Impossible to untangle them all.
