Yes, he did ... although this Alice had the additional forename of "Anna".
As Alice Anna KERR,  she had married a George Henry CHAPMAN.  That union ended in divorce in 1946.

Many thanks Minniehaha, and Lu.........I had most of Joseph and Alice's children, but not the marriages.........this will give me loads to sort through, it's great as I knew virtually nothing about the N Z side of things
