First daughter Margaret named after mother's mother ? .
As Brigidmac says, this might be the case.

There is a baptism for Bridget ‘Liens’ with parents Thos and Margaret Campion - 1sr November 1816

There is no evidence that Bridget or John could be these people but they are the only ones I can see.

Baptism - transcribed as John ‘Mottenedy’ on Anc. But has been annotated McKennedy

November 1814 , Roscarberry, Cork

The family church in Gloucester was All Saints, Cheltenham, where Anne Harper of Camden Town married John McKennedy in September 1848. Could John's parents have been married in England. Back to the 1851 Census, both had very English names, Hayes & Clumpy. There may be no connection to the McKennedy's from Ireland

Who is Ann HARPER. ?
Is this his first wife and Bridgett a remarriage
Making the children step children ...all the more reason to find their birth registration

Or is it a second wife for his father ?
Are there any other McKennedy familes on 1851 census

That marriage is 1869 - presumably son John

You need to modify the date in post 11

In case anyone goes on a wild goose chase .

It would be useful to know where all  the children were in 1861 /1871 too .

You may find some living with relatives from Bridget's side
