John Dowd, 1838-1842 - 1909, Boyle, Roscommon, 14th Foot Regiment

Hello,

I have a part brick wall. I'm looking for the mother's name of my great great grandfather John Dowd and possibly any siblings he had.

He was born in Roscommon around 1837-1842 - his father on his marriage record to Catherine Tansey is listed as Patrick Dowd, a Labourer. On the 1901 census he is listed as being 63 years of age, making him born in 1838/9 & on his death record in 1909 he is listed as being 67 years of age making him born in 1841/42. He served in the 14th foot regiment, his pension record below
