Sandra, I'm not sure that marriage is correct, it's for a Robert J Lemon. As you've noted the likely brother of John was a Robert F, and the GRO's index gives his middle name as Frampton.

I think there's another possible marriage, of which there looks to have been one child, born in 1949.

Possible GRO BMD references:
1924 Q3 Birth: Robert Frampton Lemon (mmn: Frampton); Salisbury; 5a; 277
1928 Q1 Birth: Judith Mary Childs (mmn: Goddard); Salisbury; 5a; 241
1948 Q3 Marriage: Robert F Lemon & Judith M Childs; Salisbury; 7c; 1367
2011 Q1 Death: Judith Mary Lemon; age 83 (born c1928); Devon (423-1a); 504285368
2015 Q4 Death: Robert Frampton Lemon; age 91 (born c1924); Torbay (422-1a); 513106624

There's a newspaper reference to John's unfortunate death but no mention of his family. I couldn't find any other newspaper references for the family but I'll carry on looking.

Killed In Practice
During firing practice, Lieut. J A Lemon (21), Royal Artillery, of Harnham, near Salisbury, was shot in the head from a rifle and died in hospital at Scarborough.

The coroner (Mr C Royle), who yesterday recorded a verdict of accidental death, said it appeared that Lemon got in the line of fire under the impression that the practice was completed.

EDIT:
There are probate records for both Judith and Robert.

There's a tree online that has this 1951 marriage as a re-marriage for John's father, Robert James; Hyacinth having died in 1950.
