Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Pvt Alfred Robert Steel -
386th Home Service Coy.  Labour Corps - service no - 237738 - died 6/11/1918
buried Merton St Mary Churchyard.

Husband of Mrs. C. Steel, of 20, High Path, Merton.

The private memorial marking the grave o Pvt Steel no longer provides adequate commemoration, the commission are in the process of producing a new headstone.
