Does anyone know the answer to this question, pretty please.
If I download a certificate from the US or other country, will it still show up 'properly' after the free weekend (I only have the basic UK subscription)?  Or will it revert to 'Not available'?

Thanks.

You need to actually downl0ad it to your computer/other means of saving it or print it.  It will not be available 'online'.

Okay, thanks.  I have downloaded it now, hopefully all will still be there next week!  However, I have added the information into the Profile, just in case!  Thanks for your help.

Does it include access to newspapers

I thought if I saved a record it would show on my tree whatever my subs status

& Matches can see copy
Good thing is to screenshot a snippet and add to a profile pic then it's available to all

Thanks Chris and Sandra...I was able to locate someone who family lore says went to England from Scotland and never returned. I found him in the 1939 register. He's my Great Uncle, John Adams (Jr.) B. 1889 in Aberdeen. Strangely, he's listed as a Widower. According to my mum he never married or had children. I looked for a marriage but could find nothing certain. He's still with his birth family in the 1911 Scottish census age 21 and same occupation as in 1939. I wonder if he fought in the Great War? He certainly was of a fighting age. I'll have to do some more research. Supposedly he was "embarrassed" when my Grandmother was born in 1906, because she was what my mom refers to as an "oops" baby (his parents married in 1887). GM made him sound like a bit of an ass, LOL. I dont think she kept in touch with him after they came to America in 1926. I found his death in 1964 in Bromley, Kent. Which agrees with the 1939 listing which puts him in Kent as well. Oh Well, Happy Easter all!!
