Thomas Warren m. Mary Taylor
« on: Friday 02 April 21 20:11 BST (UK) »
Hello all
This is rather embarrassing because not for the first time I have failed to write something down and now can't find any reference to it.  ::)
I came back to look again at my Warren family of Birmingham and try to break down a small brick wall, which actually I have achieved, getting a generation further back.
However, here is my problem and I hope a fresh pair of eyes can find the record and corroborate it.
I have Thomas Warren and Mary Taylor marrying in Handsworth on 27th December 1795.  These are definitely my correct ancestors.  At the moment I've left Mary Taylor to concentrate on Thomas.  I have him as the son of Thomas Warren and Bridget Thornton who married at St. Philips on 31st July 1769, Thomas being their third child b. 1773, baptized 28th December in St. Martin's church.
The thing is, I have written a note to myself saying 'Wrong Thomas.  The son of Thomas and Bridget died in 1775,  need to find the right parents of the Thomas who married Mary Taylor'.
Now nowhere can I find this record of the death of a two-year old Thomas Warren.  I can't have made it up, surely!
Can anyone see it?
Many thanks in advance

Thank you very much, osprey.
Damn.
Looks as though I was right first time.  There's only one baptism for a child called Thomas to this couple so it's not as if they re-used the name.   :'(
The best possibility I can see  for a Thomas now is bapt St. Philip's 20th February 1776, parents Thomas and Ann.
I'll have to take a new look at this one.  And keep proper notes!
Thank you again

Bev
