Place of residence in Limerick Petty Session record - Jeffrey Keating
« on: Saturday 03 April 21 07:05 BST (UK) »
The entry (attached) in the Limerick Petty Session records on 30 May 1866 for Jeffrey Keating has an abbreviation after Esq. It looks like Solr which I think means Solicitor as that was his occupation. (my previous thread https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=845120.0 )

What puzzles me is his residence is given as "Ballycahane or Manister". Surely he would know where he lived?

Thanks Maggsie. My guess is that he lived at one (Ballycahane?) and worked as a solicitor at the other (Manister?)
