I have found a burial for a Veronica Frances Boyle, age 62 of 28 St Oswald Gardens, Liverpool 13.
Buried at Allerton 19th October 1992, Section RC 23 grave 1274

So yes, she was buried with your nana :-)

There is also an entry for her in the probate calendar 1995
which says she died on 9th Oct 1992. She didn't leave a will and at that time the calendar no longer tells us who was granted administration of her estate.

Boo

Pleased to have been able to help, Margy.

and there was a notice of her death and funeral arrangements, plus tributes from two of her sisters in the Echo on 15th Oct 1992, page 31 col 3

The death notice says she died in hospital on 11th Oct and she was the daughter of the late Catherine and sister of V, I, J, M and M (names not transcribed in case any are living, but the J was the only male)
Funeral Mass at St Oswald's Parish Church followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery on 19th October.

that date of death is different to the probate calendar entry(which will be correct as it will be taken from a death certificate) -there again the Echo wasn't renowned for accuracy !

The tributes say:
BOYLE - VERA, October 9 1992, suddenly at home .
(Peace be yours Vera, memories ours, good night God bless)
From sister S and family

and

BOYLE- VERA October 9 1992, suddenly at home.
(There's a place in my heart called memory land where thoughts of you Vera will always remain.
Good night, God bless)
From sister M and family

So I am unsure if she died at home or in hospital.

Boo

What a heart warming result.
Garstonite is always so kind and willing to share knowledge about that area and Boo’s finds are great, especially that lovely tribute.

Sorry I forgot to add in the notices for your nan:

Liverpool Echo 12 November 1975
page 4 col 1

Death Announcements:

BOYLE - November 10, 1975, peacefully, aged 87 years, CATHERINE BOYLE. dear mother of V, grandmother of all her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. (We lived in hope, we prayed in vain, that God would make you well again, but the Lord decided we must part, you died and left us with a broken heart. R.I.P.)

BOYLE - November 10, 1975, CATHERINE BOYLE. (Words are few, thoughts are deep, memories of you, mother are ours to keep).
Loving daughter M, A, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.

(The A in the second one seems to have been the husband of M)
